smaller:-

characters):-

text):-

14) Continuously update your content:-
1) Using 1-2 best matched Long-tail keyword:-
It is not about putting
everything in your pocket but it is about putting the right thing that is most
relevant to your topic that’s why I use Best Matched Keywords. Using keywords
that feel like Un-natural or forced will surely not increase your organic
traffic but most of do I don’t know why people try to put everything that
hardly relates to their content hoping that it will bring us more traffic.
One thing you must remember is to USE
ONLY 1-2 LONG-TAIL KEYWORDS PER POST.
Now many of you have a question
why Long-tail keyword?
Because these longer
question-based keywords keep your post focused on the specific goals of your
audience.
For example, the long-tail keyword "How to earn money by affiliate marketing" is much more impactful in terms of SEO than the short keyword "affiliate marketing" if your post content is about earning money using affiliate marketing.
2) Optimizing Title tag (H1-tag):-
The title, Headline of your blog post
will be a search engine's and reader's first step in determining the relevancy
of your content. So, you have to include a keyword in the title tag in order to
better understand the reader what your post is going to be. In case having a long headline, you must include your keyword at the start because google cuts off
your headline on the SERP (search engine result page) after 60 characters approx.
Here are some technical terms you should remember. Google measures by pixel width, not character count on SERP, and its limit is about 500 to 600 pixels approx. In simple words, Google cuts off your headline after approx. 60 characters so it is a good idea to write a keyword at the start.
3) Using sub-header with H2-tag or smaller:-
An H2 header is a secondary header
that you can use to Emphasize secondary keywords. It plays a handy role that
splits your content and makes it easy for the reader without any complexity. H2 is
used for breaking up the H1 content into easily digestible bits.
Ensure that your keyword is included
in H2. This is because Google looks for keyword presence in the title and
keyword density in the content while searching and ranking content. There’s no
necessity for an exact keyword match.
(Note:- Headers may be used up to H6
but in my opinion H1, H2 or more H3 are enough for you to get noticed by the
search engines. Using H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, H6 at each post might stretch your post
too much and that is not a good practice to use)
4) Optimizing Meta-description (300 characters):-
On SERP (search engine result page)
text written under the URL of your webpage is called Meta-description. A good practice is to use a Long-tail keyword with some new lines and words. Its purpose
is to give search engines and readers detailed information about your content.
It should be written up to 300 characters at most.
5) Optimizing URL structures:-
Search engines also look at your URL and figure out what would be in that topic. So it is more important to include keywords in your URL also.
6) Using Passive CTA (Links hidden in the text):
A call to action is a button (or simply a text link) that tells site users to do something. The question here is, How it helps in SEO? It is important because a high click-through rate makes your site look reputable and more organized on search engines.
7) Optimizing Image alt text:-
In order to make your content
comprehensive, you must use images that support your content and increase reader
visibility. As far as SERP concerns, it doesn’t simply look for images, Rather
it looks for IMAGES THAT HAVE images ALT-TEXT. So you must include IMAGE
ALT-TEXT for better visibility of your content on SERP in the image result section.
Most of you might have a question,
WHAT IS BASICALLY IMAGE ALT-TEXT?
Simply It is the text written as
image tags in HTML.
Describing the image with keywords
and characters up to 120-125 max. is good the practice of writing an effective image alt-text.
8) Inter-linked pillar page and topic clusters:-
Linking internally your pillar page and cluster pages is very important because it tells Search engines about relevancy of your topics. Consider a blog post or topic that is related to your other blogpost or website then it is a good idea to link it. You can think of this as solving for your SEO while also helping your visitors get more information from your content and getting more traffic for you to other pages as well.
9) Using “ Schema Microdata “:-
Schema is a type of structure
markup format that makes it easier for search engines to parse and interpret
the information on your web pages more effectively so they can serve relevant
results to users based on search queries.
It will make it easier for search
engine bots to find and index your pages.
Schema microdata is applied
directly to the HTML code of a web page to define exactly what it is and how it
should be treated.
10) Responsive website (mobile friendly):-
Did you know more people use a
search engine from their mobile phones than from a computer? So for all of the searches being done on mobile google shows the results from the websites that
are mobile-friendly. So making a responsive website is vital nowadays.
11) Avoid too much similar tags:-
Using too many tags will make
your webpage un-organized and distorted and even If you have too many similar
tags, you may get penalized by search engines for having duplicate content.
For example, topic tags like "stream,"
"network stream," and "streaming" are too similar to one
another to be used on the same post, rather than good practice would be to use
single tag ”network stream” covering all aspects that related tags had.
If you use too many similar tags
then it appears to search engines as if you're showing the content multiple
times throughout your website.
You should choose around 20–25
topic tags that you think are important to your blog and that aren't too
similar to one another. Then only tag your posts with those keywords. That way,
you won't have to worry about duplicate content.
12) Use Google's Search Console:-
In google search console, find the tab named “Search Analytics Report” and take a look on webpage’s clicks on Google search, it will tell you which specific keyword people are looking for or clicked the most and you can continue maintaining your keywords in order to get notified by the search engines and rank on top.
13) Create indestructible content:-
If you want to get success in the blogging field then it becomes vital to write about articles that have a long
life and not going to end in the near future. Writing long-lasting content has a benefit, it contributes to steady amounts of traffic coming to your website long after its date of publication.
All blog content — long-form articles, how-to guide, FAQ, tutorial, and so on — should be
evergreen. Even the images you use in these posts should be evergreen.
14) Continuously update your content:-
Creating content and publishing it…Isn't it enough? And then just sit
And watch!!! Blogging in real is in fact
creating a blog and continuously updating and removing outdated content.
You should also focus on creating new
posts as well in order to generate more traffic. This is because it takes a lot
longer for a completely new piece of content to settle on the search engine
results page (SERP) and gain authority, whereas you could update a piece of
content and reap the benefits fairly immediately in comparison.
Have a blog post and if it no longer fits,
and updating it doesn't make sense or work for the situation, simply remove it.
